To celebrate the Year of the Horse, Sun Hung Kai Properties' shopping malls Mikiki in San Po Kong and Chelsea Heights are collaborating for the first time in Hong Kong with the wildly popular Taiwanese IP "Shiba Inu's Tale," bringing together a host of adorable characters—Shiba Inus, Corgis, cats, and cute capybaras—all dressed in festive Lunar New Year attire to present the "Shiba Inu's Prosperous Year" themed event! Starting today, both malls will be transformed into a festive Lunar New Year wonderland overflowing with Shiba Inu spirit! The malls will be filled with various auspicious photo spots, fun interactive games, and the most comprehensive Lunar New Year sales, creating a joyful and auspicious Lunar New Year celebration where even furry friends are welcome to join in!
Mikiki has a deep connection with Shiba Inus; one of the iconic photo spots in its "Pets Park" is a giant Shiba Inu. This Lunar New Year, Mikiki has specially collaborated with "Shiba Inu's Tale" to create the "Shiba Inu's Prosperous Lunar New Year Wonderland," featuring 6 themed photo spots and game zones. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a 3-meter-tall giant Shiba Inu, dressed as the God of Wealth, warmly welcoming you. The Shiba Inu and its friend, a capybara, await you in the "Lucky Shiba Inu House," and will accompany you on the colorful and festive carousel, sharing a warm and joyful Lunar New Year! A pet-friendly photo zone is set up, allowing you and your beloved pet to create heartwarming photos. Three interactive games await your challenge: the "Lucky Wheel of Happiness" for good relationships and romantic luck, the "Step-by-Step Promotion" for career advancement, and the "Rolling Fortune" pinball machine for abundant blessings—enough to keep you entertained this Lunar New Year!
Chelsea Heights is transformed into the "Lucky Shiba Inu Japanese New Year Festival," featuring four Japanese-style photo and game areas. You can take photos with the over 2.3-meter-tall giant Shiba Inu, its head adorned with kumquats and soaking in a warm bath, then immerse yourself in the rich Japanese New Year atmosphere under the auspicious torii gate and write your New Year's wishes on the Japanese ema wall. Finally, don't forget to try the "Japanese-style Fishing Pond Fun" game and catch lots of good luck to welcome a prosperous year!
